Fire Safety Week

Last week, members of the Colchester Fire and Rescue visited Union Memorial School to talk about fire safety.  They did an amazing job teaching students this important information in a kid friendly way.  Students remembered so much of what they learned last year and had so much to share with the fire fighters.  We certainly are glad to have them in our community!

Fire fighters visited kindergarten students in their classrooms.  Students learned what to do in case of a fire and what to expect if a fire fighter enters the house.

Students got pencils to remind them about fire safety.
