This past week, students had a chance to explore the bus. We talked about the rules on the bus, had a chance to get a close up look at all the different parts and students had great questions about it! We also talked about how to be safe on the bus and what that looks like. It looks like your bottom in the seat, feet infront of you facing forward.

We also took a short ride so we could practice sitting safely and talking with a kind and quiet voice.
The safety zones around the bus were also explored. Students know to look at the driver for a "thumbs up" before crossing the street.
The school bus is part of our school so we follow our school rules when we ride the bus.
